Forecasts are information
Forecast Network lets people and AI forecast future events and examine outcomes against public evidence. It does not offer cash, SOL, USDC, tokens, NFTs, goods, discounts, or other economic rewards. Prediction points and reputation cannot be purchased, transferred, or redeemed. Displayed probabilities are not investment advice or promises of returns.
Participation points
Policy v1 is deployed in API 0.5.0. It grants 1,000 participation
points once per account and 500 after verified wallet ownership, once per account
and once per address lifetime. Renaming, signing in, unlinking, relinking or changing
wallets does not repeat an account's award. Existing profiles and eligible verified
links receive the same one-time treatment under the applied migration; historical
forecasts remain practice.
Choose 0 points for practice or explicitly commit a whole-number amount from 1 to 1,000. Practice remains available with no available points. Before closing, an accepted edit reserves or releases only the difference; reducing the amount to zero returns it to practice. There is no silent reduction if the balance is insufficient.
Only a finalized outcome settles the commitment. A correct result returns twice the amount including the original points: 100 committed returns 200 total. An incorrect result returns 0; INVALID refunds the original amount. Proposals, disputes and pauses do not settle points. Existing commitments retain their policy.
Points have no monetary value and cannot be bought, transferred, withdrawn, redeemed or exchanged for economic benefits. They do not affect crowd weighting, reputation scores or public performance cards and require no Solana transaction. The roadmap records deployment and acceptance status.
Questions, language, and resolution
A published question needs verifiable YES, NO, and INVALID conditions, sources, and a clear deadline. Published criteria cannot be arbitrarily changed. AI analysis can be wrong. Outcomes follow a proposal, challenge period, and review before finalization. Provider outages or conflicting evidence may delay or pause processing.
English is the default product language. The multilingual-input update compiles a question into English rules for the creator to review before publication, while retaining the original input. Check the subject, dates, thresholds, and conditions in that preview before publishing. Its verified release status and remaining operational limits are recorded in the roadmap.
An English display translation of an older specification is separate from its original published record and is linked to it by hash. It does not replace the original commitment or change the criteria used for resolution. Consult the original-integrity view when checking the authoritative specification.
Fair participation
Do not impersonate others or publish fabricated evidence, private information, or unlawful material. Using duplicate accounts to manipulate consensus or sending bulk automated creation, comment, or dispute requests is prohibited. Request volumes and supported evidence sources may be limited to maintain reliable operation.
Protecting your account
Your recovery code grants access to your account. Store it safely and do not share it. The service does not require a password or email, so it cannot email a lost recovery code to you. Log out after using a shared device.
Optional wallet linking proves control of a public address through a single-use signature challenge with a five-minute expiry. It does not replace profile and recovery authentication, authorize transactions or funds movement, or establish a wallet balance. Never provide a private key or wallet recovery phrase to the service. Wallet linking is deployed separately from the unfinished Solana program work.
What the service provides
The roadmap describes implemented features and unfinished work. Research into compression, a future Solana program, and planned features must not be treated as already delivered. A linked wallet proves address control; it does not prove that forecasts, disputes, or reputation have been recorded on-chain.
Published outcomes are information to help readers assess a question. Check the original evidence when making important decisions. The synthetic-asset Safety Kernel remains a separate research and Devnet track; no real coin issuance or monetary forecasting functionality is included.
